My studies focus on numerical investigation of small bubble dynamic in homogeneous isotropic turbulence. The turbulent field is resolved with the spectral method and the bubble is tracking with Lagrangian approach. Second, based on the evident providing by the previous direct simulation and a theoretical analysis, a stochastic modeling in large eddy simulation (LES) is proposed to introduce the effects of turbulent small scale motions for different hydrodynamic forces.
