Tan Zhi-yong

Zhiyong Tan is currently a Professor and the Head of the Department of Turbine, AECC Commercial Aircraft Engine Company Ltd., Shanghai, China. He is also the Vice Dean of the China Aviation Research Institute, Shanghai Branch, Shanghai. He is the Principal Investigator of several national major research and development research projects. He has been published over 30 articles and issued over 20 patents. He has long been engaged in the research of the design and manufacturing of aero-engine. His research interests include the general design and performance analysis of the aero-engine, the advanced cycle technology of the gas turbine, and the cooling and flow analysis of the turbine.
