My scientific research is focused on lanthanide-doped nanomaterials and their applications in microfluidics and bio-medicine. The current project is on engineering colloidal nanoparticles and monitoring fluid dynamics (using optical micro-spectroscopy) in microfluidics and with cells toward clinical diagnosis.
