Zing Tsung-Yeh Tsai

My research has been focused on computational biology in regulatory genomics and molecular evolution. I revealed important roles of DNA structures and noncoding RNAs in mechanisms of gene regulation and evolution by using machine learning and statistical approaches. These findings and developed bioinformatics methods advanced biomedical researches, in particular to understand genomic variations and gene regulatory mechanisms responded to various diseases and environmental stress.
