Abstract
正确认识我国建设创新型国家和实现小康社会建设目标这一新形势下高校贫困生社会支持工作重要性是做好该项工作的前提和基础.本文通过对我国当前经济建设和社会发展面临形势和任务的分析,结合<国家中长期教育改革和发展规划纲要(2010年至2020年)>,从科教兴国和人才强国战略的实施、和谐社会的构建、立党为公执政为民的理念和办好人民满意的教育目标的实现及整合社会资源和实现教育本质等四个方面对新形势下做好高校贫困生社会支持工作的重要性进行了深入的研究和详细阐述.
