钾盐是我国紧缺的七大宗矿产资源之一,找钾思路新突破和新方法是解决我国找钾难题的重要途径.通过综合研究对比国内外固体钾盐沉积及后期变化特征,得出钾盐沉积前期受盆山地形决定,钾盐沉积于盆地汇水中心,呈"凹"形态;钾盐沉积过程中因重力分异导致上覆碎屑盖层下降,比重轻的盐岩及钾盐向上隆起,呈"口"形态;钾盐埋藏后期随构造活动的挤压和推覆,盐岩及钾盐进一步向上凸起,呈"凸"形态.因而,钾盐沉积形态的变化决定钾盐最终的赋存空间.通过盆山周边地质及综合地球物理资料解译,研究目标区域内盐岩体剖面沉积形态,即可预测钾盐埋藏位置,这对具体找钾工作具有重要意义.
