Agrawal has a particular interest in improving health outcomes and decreasing costs of care. He has published extensively in this area and is the co-director of the Bridges to Better Care program, a multidisciplinary effort at Dell Med to research, promote and implement high-value care models of care. He is passionate about teaching, especially around practicing evidence-based medicine and being responsible stewards of health care resources. He serves on the review boards of several medical journals and on gastroenterology national committees. He is a fellow of American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and American College of Gastroenterology.
