Bio
Zhang Jianbin Ph.D., M.D. Associate Researcher, master supervisor of Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Hangzhou Medical College, graduated from National University of Singapore, worked at Department of Oncology and Clinical Medicine Institute of Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital. He has been awarded Zhejiang Provincial "Ten Thousand Talents Program" Young Top Talents, "Qianjiang Talents", "Health Innovation Talents". He was also an evaluation expert of National Natural Science Foundation of China and Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation. He joined many academic societies, including China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine Pharmacology Experiment Branch youth committee member, China Society of Clinical Oncology member, Chinese Immunology Association member, Zhejiang Provincial Immunology Assoication Basic Immune Branch committee member, Zhejiang Provincial Association of Tumor Etiology committee member, Zhejiang Provincial Anti-cancer Association Clinical Oncology Pharmacy committee member, Zhejiang Provincial Anti-cancer Association Oncology youth committee member, Zhejiang Provincial Medical Association Tumor Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Branch youth committee member.
He has presided over or participated in 8 national and provincial projects, 5 of which have been completed. He has published more than 20 papers as the first or corresponding author in internationally renowned journals such as Autophagy, Nat Protoco, ACS Cen SCI, Angew Chem Int Ed, Cell Res, Med Res Rev, etc. Besides, he participated in editing 2 monographs, applied for 3 patents and won more than 20 academic awards.
Research Interest:
(1) Autophagy and tumorigenesis and its regulatory mechanism: to establish new methods for autophagy research, to reveal the regulatory mechanism of autophagy at the transcriptional, translation and post-translation levels, and to enhance the anti-tumor effect of drugs by regulating autophagy.
(2) Markers and drug targets related to autophagy and tumors: to lay the foundation for the research and development of markers for tumor diagnosis, to study anti-tumor drugs with autophagy effect, and to provide new drug targets for tumor therapy.
(3) Anti-tumor effect and targeting mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine: to screen and study new Chinese medicine drugs that regulate autophagy, to reveal the anti-tumor, material basis of action and targeting regulation mechanism, and to lay a foundation for the research and development of safe and effective anti-tumor new Chinese medicine/adjuvant drugs.
