My research has focused on characterising the epidemiology of osteoporosis and the major osteoporotic fractures in men and women, and more recently the occurrence and predictors of musculoskeletal frailty. As a member of the ‘Research in Osteoarthritis Manchester (ROAM)’ team I have been involved in the design and conduct of clinical trials of therapies for osteoarthritis.
